Where our stories come from

Stories on Thailand Stories are drawn from lived experience — told directly by the people who went through them, gathered from patterns we hear about again and again, or written to explore a situation many readers will recognize. Every story is edited for length, clarity, and to protect the people involved.

Protecting identities

We change names, places, and details that could identify the real people who appear in our stories, unless that person has explicitly authorized us to keep them.

Not professional advice

Our stories cover topics like relationships, money, marriage, and sometimes scams. They're published for informational and entertainment purposes, not as legal, financial, or relationship advice. If you need professional help with any of these topics, please consult a qualified specialist.

How we choose content

We select stories we consider representative, honest, or useful for understanding the real dynamics of relationships between foreigners and Thai women, avoiding gratuitous sensationalism or disrespectful treatment of anyone involved.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, or believe a story represents you unfairly or inaccurately, write to us through our contact page. We review every request and correct or remove content when warranted.

Independence

We do not accept payment from any person or brand mentioned in our stories in exchange for their appearance.
