Thailand Stories started with a simple question: what actually happens when a foreigner and a Thai woman build a relationship? Not the meme version, not the forum-comment version full of clichés, but the honest one, with its good moments, its doubts, and its mistakes too.

We publish Thailand stories about love, heartbreak, marriage, age gaps, culture clashes, and also about the scams and deceptions that sometimes happen in these relationships. You can read more about how we handle sourcing and corrections in our editorial policy.

An independent project

Thailand Stories is an independent editorial project, not a company or a dating agency. We don't sell introductions, we don't organize trips, and we don't represent any of the people who appear in these stories. Our only goal is to tell experiences honestly.

Why we do this

Relationships between foreigners and Thai women attract a lot of curiosity and, just as often, a lot of prejudice. We want to add nuance: not every story is a fairy tale, and not every story is a scam. Each one is different, and deserves to be told without caricature.
